DESCRIPTION

Blow-Up (1966) is a film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, widely regarded as a landmark of 1960s cinema. Set in Swinging London, it follows Thomas, a fashionable but detached fashion photographer, who believes he may have accidentally photographed a murder in a park.

In the film, the photographer Thomas is constantly searching for the truth. In the final scene, the moment he picks up the invisible tennis ball symbolizes his acceptance of the blurred boundary between reality and illusion. I want to focus my sequence on this idea of ambiguity — can we ever truly see reality?
