001—ANIME EXPO
Branding

All year we gather in fragments—through screens, streams, feeds, and fandoms. We follow stories, create, share, and imagine from separate places. Then the doors open.

Anime Expo is where thousands of worlds converge into one living society. For four days, fans, artists, creators, and dreamers become more than spectators. We don't just consume stories—we inhabit them, contribute to them, and create new ones together.

003—OPEN STRUCTURES

MOTION DECK (Brand Montage)

OpenStructures describes itself as “an exploration on open modular construction where anyone designs for everyone on the basis of one shared grid.”

Many people, one system — visualizing collaboration and distributed creativity.

Sequence Design

A Music video sequence design for the sone REMEMBER.

A light that turns a colorless world into one filled with hope.

In our story, a young girl becomes the source of the light within a colorless world. When she unleashes her magic, it bursts outward from her—infusing the surroundings with color and warmth. In that instant, the entire world transforms from dark rainy day to the environment which is full of sunshine, becoming filled with hope and new life.

004—A FISH CALLED WANDA
Sequence Design

A Fish Called Wanda (1988) is a sharp, chaotic heist comedy about a group of thieves who betray each other after stealing diamonds.

Driven by their greed for the “treasure,” the characters constantly deceive and betray on one another, creating a spiral of chaos. At the same time, the film’s overall tone is steeped in dark humor.

To reflect this blend of absurdity and conflict, the title sequence will take the form of a 3D Collage: a light-hearted yet ironic setup where the figures clash and entangle, mirroring the film’s comedic tension.

005—BLOW UP
Sequence Design

Blow-Up (1966) is a film directed by Michelangelo Antonioni, widely regarded as a landmark of 1960s cinema. Set in Swinging London, it follows Thomas, a fashionable but detached fashion photographer, who believes he may have accidentally photographed a murder in a park.

In the film, the photographer Thomas is constantly searching for the truth. In the final scene, the moment he picks up the invisible tennis ball symbolizes his acceptance of the blurred boundary between reality and illusion. I want to focus my sequence on this idea of ambiguity — can we ever truly see reality?

006—Norton Simon Museum
Brand Guidline

The Norton Simon Museum is an art museum located in Pasadena, California, United States. It was previously known as the Pasadena Art Institute and the Pasadena Art Museum and displays numerous sculptures on its grounds.

To cultivate sustained encounters with art for culturally curious vicistors seeking depth, reflection, and dialogue across all time.

007—WIRED

Motion Design Logo Reveal

WIRED Magazine is a leading publication that explores the intersection of technology, culture, and innovation, often highlighting how emerging trends shape society and the future. Its identity blends cutting-edge journalism with a forward-thinking, design-driven aesthetic that reflects the pulse of the digital age. To reflect those, as well as the brand’s wide range of information and news, complex visuals are mainly used in the film.

WIRED’s logo consists of five letters and three squares, which I want to use that serve as the basis for visual variations in the title sequence. I used cubes and checkerboard grid as my main element.
